Isgandarova Shukufa, 46, resides in the village of Mammedabad, which is in the southeastern Saatli region of Azerbaijan. Along with her husband (who is pictured), she has bred cows for 15 years.
Isgandarova wants to grow her business in order to support her three children. She hopes to purchase more cows to breed and raise. She then sells them to farmers or butcher shops; most farmers in Azerbaijan own at least one or two cows, and beef is major part of the Azerbaijan diet.
